Description
Redfish Lake is an alpine lake in central Idaho, located at the base of the Sawtooth Mountains in Custer County. The lake is named for the brilliant sockeye salmon that once returned from the Pacific Ocean in such massive quantities that the lake shimmered red during spawning season. However, only a small number of wild sockeye make it back to the lake to spawn.
Our map displays a key with the following points of interest: Visitor information, Redfish Lake Corrals, Redfish Lake Marine, and Hiking trailheads.
We design and assemble all of our maps in the Reno/Tahoe area, and all laser etching is done by lasers that we design and build in house. These maps are etched into Baltic birch wood and hand framed with a wire wrap along the back, allowing you to hang it as soon as it arrives! We hope you love it!
